Welcome to Henderson Township. Founded in 1904 and situated in the Huron-Manistee National Forest. Boasting a variety of hardwood trees and conifers, along with two small creeks, the Poplar and Dowling, and an abundance of wildlife and birds. Take a drive through our township any time of the year and enjoy the beauty of spring blossoms on the wild cherry trees, a variety of wildflowers in the summer, trees covered in red, yellow and gold in the fall and the beautiful black and white landscapes of winter.
